It's taken you months, possibly years, to get to where you are today with your health. This means your road to resilience will not be a day or week long. Becoming resilient takes time and requires you, as the client, to put in the work. Claire will support you throughout the whole process, but your success is ultimately up to you.
If you don't understand what's happening in your body, the chances of you following through with a protocol are slim. Claire will spend time giving you thorough, easy-to-understand explanations, so you feel empowered and ready to start your journey!
Claire started as a "self-taught nutritionist" when Western medicine failed her. Claire began to experience horrible digestive issues, constipation, and daily bloating during college. The only answer doctors gave her was to take a daily laxative. This didn't sit right with her. She scoured the internet to look for other avenues of healing.
She spent hours researching, listening to podcasts by practitioners, and watching hundreds of YouTube videos to try and find some natural remedy to heal her. This led her to cut out meat, dairy, and eggs and adopt a high-carb/low-fat diet. She thought this would be the answer. But unfortunately, after 3 years of eating this way, she had to be honest with herself and realize that her issues had only worsened. She even started facing additional health issues.
Once Claire began reintroducing meat and eggs and balancing her macro-nutrients with more healthy fats, she started to feel like herself again! She had more energy and mental clarity, her daily bloating started to go away slowly, and her bowel movements began to regulate. The best part was that this happened without having to "diet," weigh her food, or count calories.
It was terrific for Claire to see how her body responded when she fed it properly prepared, nutrient-dense whole foods. This inspired her to take her knowledge from self-taught to certified. She began as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and Certified Nutritionist (CN) and expanded her knowledge to include high-quality supplements, lifestyle changes, toxic exposure reduction, and Functional Blood Chemistry.
Through her Resilient Health and Wellness nutrition practice, Claire helps clients get to the root of their health issues and resolve them! She strives to be the practitioner she wished she could've had many years ago when her gut issues first started.
